2020-04-17: Protection from a player means that you and each planeswalker you control have protection from each object controlled by that player. If an object has no controller (such as a card in a graveyard), its owner is considered its controller for this purpose.
2020-04-17: Creatures that player controls can still attack you or planeswalkers you control, but the damage they would deal will be prevented.

Create four 2/2 blue Bird creature tokens with flying. If the gift was promised, all permanents you control phase out, and until your next turn, your life total can't change and you gain protection from everything.

Legendary Enchantment — Background
Commander creatures you own have "When this creature enters and at the beginning of your upkeep, each player may put two +1/+1 counters on a creature they control. For each opponent who does, you gain protection from that player until your next turn." (You can't be targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by anything controlled by that player.)
Legendary Planeswalker — Vronos
+1: Up to two other target planeswalkers you control phase out at the beginning of the next end step. (Treat them and anything attached to them as though they don't exist until your next turn.)
-2: For each opponent, return up to one target nonland permanent that player controls to its owner's hand.
-7: Target artifact you control becomes a 9/9 Construct artifact creature and gains vigilance, indestructible, and "This creature can't be blocked."
Legendary Creature — Eldrazi (13/13)
This spell costs less to cast for each card type among cards in your graveyard.
When you cast this spell, you gain control of target opponent during that player's next turn. After that turn, that player takes an extra turn.

Legendary Planeswalker — Tasha
+1: Until your next turn, whenever a creature attacks you or Tasha, Unholy Archmage, put a -1/-1 counter on that creature.
-2: Target opponent puts a creature card of their choice from their graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. That creature gains ward .
-6: Target opponent reveals cards from the top of their library until they reveal three creature cards. Put those cards onto the battlefield under your control. That player puts the rest into their graveyard.

When The One Ring enters, if you cast it, you gain protection from everything until your next turn.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life for each burden counter on The One Ring.
