2013-01-24: Beckon Apparition will be on the stack when you choose its target. It can’t target itself.
2008-08-01: The controller of Beckon Apparition gets the token.

Legendary Planeswalker — Kaya
Whenever one or more creatures you control and/or creature cards in your graveyard are put into exile, you may choose a creature card from among them. Until end of turn, target token you control becomes a copy of it, except it has flying.
+2: Surveil 2, then exile a card from a graveyard.
+1: Create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.
-2: Exile target creature you control. For each other player, exile up to one target creature that player controls.
Enchantment
Creatures you control get +1/+1.
Creatures your opponents control get -1/-1.
: Exile target card from an opponent's graveyard. If it was a creature card, you create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.
Battle — Siege // Enchantment
(As a Siege enters, choose an opponent to protect it. You and others can attack it. When it's defeated, exile it, then cast it transformed.)
When Invasion of Tolvada enters, return target nonbattle permanent card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
The Broken Sky
Creature tokens you control get +1/+0 and have lifelink.
At the beginning of your end step, create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.
Sorcery
Target opponent reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it. Exile that card. If the card's mana value is 1 or less, create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.
Enchantment Creature — Spirit (1/1)
Bestow (If you cast this card for its bestow cost, it's an Aura spell with enchant creature. It becomes a creature again if it's not attached.)
Afterlife 1 (When this permanent is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.)
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 and has afterlife 1.
Instant
Exile target card from a graveyard. Its owner creates a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying.
